Many outstanding results from the women's police movement of Emulation Cluster No. 2

Women of Emulation Cluster No. 2 transferred 35 million VND to repair the house of member Thao Thi Dua's family.

Emulation cluster No. 2 includes the Women's Police Association of 7 provinces: Dien Bien, Son La, Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Lang Son, Cao Bang, Ha Giang (old).

The cluster has 107 grassroots Women's Unions, with a total of 3,398 members. Of these, 1,106 are female officers working at the commune-level police.

In recent times, female cadres and members in Emulation Cluster No. 2 have proactively advised Party committees and leaders at all levels to effectively implement resolutions and programs to protect national security, participate in the fight against " peaceful evolution", drug crimes, human trafficking and other types of crimes.

In the past 6 months, the emulation movement "Women Police Officers with courage, humanity, discipline, and responsibility for national security and family happiness" has continued to be widely deployed.

The association at all levels has advised on organizing more than 150 traditional education activities, political activities, and propaganda for major holidays; organized 92 propaganda sessions, attracting more than 7,700 participants.

Emulation cluster No. 2 has implemented 206 typical projects, models, and tasks, associated with political tasks and community activities. In 6 months, 330 female cadres were trained and fostered in professional skills, foreign languages, and ethnic minority languages.

Colonel Bui Tuan Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of Son La Provincial Police, spoke at the 6-month review conference.

The "Women's Savings Group" movement continues to be maintained and expanded with 43 models, total savings of more than 990 million VND, providing practical support to members.

The associations at all levels also organized more than 70 specialized activities on life skills education and domestic violence prevention, attracting nearly 3,000 members; more than 100 grassroots women's associations registered to carry out the work of building new rural areas.

Regarding humanitarian and charity work, Emulation Cluster No. 2 has implemented more than 35 activities with a total budget of about 3.3 billion VND, supporting the construction of two houses of gratitude and shelters of love; receiving and connecting to sponsor 180 orphans.

In the past 6 months, 24 groups and 145 individuals were recognized and rewarded. Notably, 2 members were awarded the “Outstanding Female Police Officer of 2024” Award; 7 female police officers at the commune level were honored in the “Outstanding Female Police Officer of Commune” Program organized by the Ministry of Public Security…

At the 6-month review conference, women of Emulation Cluster No. 2 presented 35 million VND to support house repair for the family of member Thao Thi Dua, a member of the Women's Union of the Logistics Department of Son La Provincial Police. This member is in extremely difficult circumstances.
