Many Hue resort hotels win awards

Travel & Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2023:

TTH.VN - Good news has come to the province's tourism industry when many resort hotels in Hue have just been highly ranked at the Travel & Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2023.

Notably, at the Travel & Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2023, Azerai La Residence Hue was ranked No. 1 in Vietnam in the “Upcountry Hotels” category. This category is for luxury resort hotels located far from the coast.

Azerai La Residence Hue is a charming and classy resort located on the poetic Perfume River. The resort has 122 bedrooms and suites.

Azerai La Residence Hue has been named one of the top 20 resorts in Asia by readers of the prestigious American travel magazine Conde Nast Traveler for many consecutive years and was listed in the top 500 best hotels in the world by Travel + Leisure magazine in 2014 & 2015. In 2019, Azerai La Residence Hue was also named in the list of 100 most wonderful places in the world voted by TIME magazine.

In addition, at the Travel & Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2023, in the “Hotel Spas” category, Alba Wellness Valley By Fusion ranked 3rd in Vietnam and Banyan Tree Lang Co ranked 6th in Vietnam. This is a category for high-end spa services in hotels. Alba Wellness Valley By Fusion also ranked 5th in Vietnam in the “Upcountry Hotels” category.

Notably, Hue ranked 8th in the top 10 destinations in the “Cities” category of the award. Vietnam has only 2 cities in the top 10 in this category: Hanoi and Hue.

According to the leaders of the Department of Tourism, the award-winning resort hotels this time are an opportunity to continue promoting Thua Thien Hue tourism in the direction of becoming a health care tourism destination.
