Sharing with Nghe An Newspaper reporters via Facebook, Mr. Tran Quoc Huan from Son Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district - a small trader at this commercial center said: Up to this moment, I still cannot believe that my entire family's business has been burned down. The fire broke out at the first stall of the market, but in a short time it quickly spread to other kiosks and flared up to tens of meters high.

“As soon as we heard the news, my family rushed to the scene, but the fire was too big to save anyone, and the scene was blocked off. Everyone could only stand and watch as their property burned to the ground. Some people cried and collapsed on the street. Not only did their goods burn, some people also left their money and debt books in the market… the loss was too great, incalculable… My family alone has 5 kiosks, with estimated damage of over 10 billion VND,” Mr. Huan sadly shared.

“As of this afternoon (May 13), traders are still not allowed to enter the market because the authorities have not lifted the blockade order. They have to clean up before they can enter. After the fire, the structure of the market is weak, if people enter, the market is at risk of collapsing…”, Mr. Huan added.

According to preliminary statistics of Son Thanh commune, there are currently 10 local households residing and doing business at the Retail Trade Center No. 44 Marywilska. According to the information reported, most of the households suffered complete property damage after the fire.

Accordingly, Bao Thanh commune has more than 100 households residing in this country. Of which, about 25 households doing business at the Retail Trade Center No. 44 Marywilska suffered damage after the fire.

“The commune has shared and encouraged through relatives of the households in their hometowns. Currently, it is very difficult to contact and share with the households in Poland because the people are in great pain after such a great loss…”, Mr. Chung added.

Currently, the Vietnamese community in Poland has organized a call for support from benefactors to send to small businesses affected by the fire.

The fire broke out in the early morning of the same day. About 10 minutes after receiving the alarm, the first fire brigade arrived at the scene.
