Thus, in 2025, the National Economics University has stopped 5 admission groups compared to 2024, including B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), C03 (Math, Literature, History), C04 (Math, Literature, Geography), D09 (Math, History, English), D10 (Math, Geography, English).
Also in 2025, the National Economics University will enroll two new programs: Labor Relations and International Trade Law. The expected admission threshold for the admission method based on the 2025 high school graduation exam scores is 20, including priority points.
Similarly, Hanoi University of Science and Technology still maintains 3 stable admission methods with nearly 9,700 targets, including talent selection (20%), based on thinking assessment test scores (40%), and based on 2025 high school graduation exam scores (40%).
Compared to 2024, Hanoi University of Science and Technology reduced about 10% of the quota based on high school graduation exam scores to reserve for thinking assessment test scores.
In the admission method based on the 2025 high school graduation exam scores, Hanoi University of Science and Technology retains the same 10 admission combinations as previous years, adding 1 new combination K01 (Math, Literature, Physics/Chemistry/Biology/IT), in which Math and Literature are 2 compulsory subjects, combined with 1 of the 4 subjects above with a coefficient.
The formula for calculating admission scores for the K01 combination is as follows: Math x 3 + Literature x 1 + Physics/Chemistry/Biology/IT x2. Admission combinations are calculated equally.
In 2025, Hanoi Medical University plans to maintain stable admission methods compared to the previous year, including: direct admission, consideration of high school graduation exam scores, admission combined with graduation exam scores and international language certificates, and consideration based on Hanoi National University's (HSA) competency assessment test scores. However, the school plans to adjust admission combinations.
In addition, Hanoi Medical University plans to open two new majors, including Social Work and Medical Imaging Technology. Last year, Hanoi Medical University opened three new majors, Psychology, Midwifery and Dental Prosthetics. That was also the first year the school recruited the combination C00 (Literature, History, Geography) and D01 (Math, Literature, English) for some majors.
Meanwhile, Hanoi University of Industry plans to enroll 7,990 students for 62 majors/training programs according to 5 methods, including: Direct admission with no quota limit, admission based on international certificate scores/excellent student awards combined with the total score of all three years of high school for 3 subjects according to the combination, admission based on high school graduation exam results, admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University/Hanoi University of Science and Technology combined with academic records.
Thus, in 2025, Hanoi University of Industry has stopped considering academic transcripts independently, instead combining academic transcripts with international certificates, excellent student awards, and test scores to assess capacity and thinking.
Regarding the admission combinations, the school plans to add some new combinations including A0C (Math, Physics, Technology), A0T (Math, Physics, Information Technology), B0C (Math, Chemistry, Technology), D0C (Math, English, Technology), D0G (Math, English, Economic Education and Law).
In 2025, the University of Commerce plans to use a variety of admission methods, giving priority to students with international English certificates.
Also in 2025, the school will open 7 new programs in the international career orientation group, including Brand Management (Marketing), International Certified Integrated Auditing (Auditing), Economics and Investment Management (Economics), Business Law (Economic Law), E-commerce (E-commerce), Information Systems Management (Management Information Systems), Business Chinese (Chinese Language).
In 2025 , Thai Nguyen University of Education will enroll students according to the following methods: direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, considering the results of the competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University, Hanoi University of Education, Thai Nguyen University (V-SAT-TNU), considering university preparatory students, using graduation results or combining this exam score with the physical education and sports aptitude test.
Compared to last year, the school has eliminated two admission methods: considering transcripts and combining transcripts with aptitude test scores (Preschool Education major).
In 2025, Hanoi National University of Education 2 will enroll students according to the following methods: Direct admission and priority admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, admission using high school study results, admission using high school graduation exam results, admission using the results of the competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University, Ho Chi Minh City National University, Hanoi National University of Education, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, admission using the results of the separate entrance exam of Hanoi National University of Education 2.
The majors of Preschool Education, Physical Education, and Sports Management use the above methods, but in the admission combinations, the results of the aptitude test organized by the school are used (not the results of the aptitude test of other higher education institutions).
The University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi plans to enroll 4,120 students through the following methods: admission based on high school graduation exam results, admission based on international certificates such as SAT, A-Level, ACT, admission based on HSA scores organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi, direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and Vietnam National University, Hanoi. In 2025, the school will open 4 new majors and programs, increasing the quota in some strong majors such as Information Technology and Computer Engineering. Regarding admission combinations, in addition to traditional combinations, the school will add admission with two combinations with IT subjects: Math, English, IT and Math, Physics, IT.
