High schools in Nghe An have announced the admission scores for grade 10 in the first round of the 2025-2026 school year. This year's admission scores have decreased, with many schools only enrolling students with 9-10 points.
Among the announced schools, Huynh Thuc Khang High School (Vinh city) currently has the highest first-round benchmark score in the province at 24.25 points; last year's entrance score of this school was more than 23 points.

Specifically, in Thanh Chuong district, Thanh Chuong 1 High School has a score of about 15.25 points with 495 students (last year 14.2 points); Thanh Chuong 3 High School has a score of 13.5 points (last year nearly 11 points); Nguyen Sy Sach High School has a score of 10 points...
Mr. Pham Xuan Phu, Principal of Nam Dan 2 High School, said that this year the school set a benchmark score of 9.5 points with 442 first-choice applications, only recruiting 400 students, of which 6 were directly admitted. In the 2024-2025 school year, the school's benchmark score is 13.2 points.
In Yen Thanh district, Bac Yen Thanh High School has a benchmark score of 15.75 points; Yen Thanh 3 High School has 13.25 points.
In particular, in mountainous districts, Tuong Duong 1 High School recorded a benchmark score of 9.75 points.
Currently, the newly announced benchmark score is the first round of admission results.
According to the plan of the Nghe An Departmentof Education and Training, after Vinh University High School for the Gifted announces the list of successful candidates, a number of other public high schools will continue to adjust the admission scores to ensure enough enrollment quotas.
The second round of benchmark scores is expected to take place on July 1.
