Many schools in and out of the province learn about the art of Don ca tai tu

On the morning of May 15, Saigon University ( Ho Chi Minh City) organized a field trip for more than 120 students to the Southern Traditional Music and Musician Cao Van Lau Memorial Site (Bac Lieu City).

Students of Saigon University watch the performance of "Da Co Hoai Lang".

Here, students can visit the exhibition house of artifacts and musical instruments and listen to an introduction to the formation and development of the art of Cai Luong and Don Ca Tai Tu in Bac Lieu . At the performance house of the Memorial Area, students can also enjoy the song "Da Co Hoai Lang" by musician Cao Van Lau, excerpts from Cai Luong and Don Ca Tai Tu songs.

According to a representative of Saigon University, the students who went on a field trip to Bac Lieu are majoring in Vietnamese Studies. The activity aims to equip students with practical knowledge about culture, thereby serving their research topics, promoting the culture of the Mekong Delta and supporting their work as tour guides after graduation.

On the same day, Mang Non Kindergarten (Ward 2, Bac Lieu City) also organized practical experience activities at the Southern Traditional Music and Musician Cao Van Lau Memorial Site.
