At present, the intense heat with high temperatures has turned people's lives upside down. On the inner-city streets, bus stations, market corners, or in the fields..., under the "skin-burning" sun, there are still many people quietly wiping away their sweat, working hard for a bowl of rice, a piece of clothing, for daily life.

Under the scorching sun, Mr. Tran Van Chinh (living in Vinh Hau commune, Hoa Binh district) still diligently sticks to the field to perform each earth-moving operation. According to Mr. Chinh, although driving an excavator does not require much effort because the operations are completely controlled by the machine, it is no less hard work because he has to be outdoors all the time, regardless of sunny or rainy days, to ensure the time and progress of completing the project.

Although she is over 70 years old and in poor health, every day Ms. Tang Thi Lan (living in Ca Vinh hamlet, Hung Hoi commune, Vinh Loi district) still carries quail eggs, orange cakes... and walks more than 5km from her home to Hung Thien pagoda to sell. In recent days, the hot weather has made Ms. Lan's steps heavier and more laborious, her back soaked with sweat. After walking a short distance, she has to find a tree or a house porch to rest and regain her strength to continue. Ms. Lan said: "My husband and I are very poor, we have no land to produce, and we have to raise a mentally ill daughter, so despite my old age, I still try to go sell every day. On a good day, we can make a profit of 60,000 - 100,000 VND. A family of 3 has to be very frugal to make ends meet. Therefore, whether it is hot or rainy, I do not dare to take a day off, I have nothing to eat when I stay home."

For delivery workers, due to the nature of their work, they often have to travel on the road, so they have to wear jackets, gloves, and masks to reduce the harshness of the weather. Mr. Minh Tu - an employee of the Saving Delivery Company, said: "Every day I have to deliver 60-100 orders, moving continuously in the blazing hot weather is very tiring, but for the sake of food and clothing, I still have to try."

And there are many other situations: workers on construction sites, street vendors, street vendors... they have to forget their own hardships to make a living under the scorching weather. Even though they know that they might get sick during these hot days, they still work hard, because if they take just one day off, they will lose a portion of their income to cover their daily life.

Each person has a different story, fate and circumstances, but all are beautiful images of life. Despite the hardships and difficulties, they still work hard to earn a living for themselves and their families with their own honest labor.
