According to this guideline, Dong Nai has 2 specialized health insurance facilities, Dong Nai General Hospital and Thong Nhat General Hospital. Health insurance participants are allowed to register for initial health insurance treatment at one of the 2 above hospitals, which must be close to their residence, workplace, or school and must be suitable to the health insurance facility's capacity in order of priority.
Specifically, including: Subjects under the management of the Politburo and Secretariat; subjects under the management and health protection under the guidance of the Central Party Organization Committee; subjects under the management and health protection of provincial officials; people with meritorious services to the revolution, veterans, and people aged 75 and over.
Next are employees of specialized health insurance medical facilities; students and trainees who are studying, practicing or interning at specialized health insurance medical facilities for 90 days or more; employees who are on business trips to specialized health insurance medical facilities for 90 days or more.
Retired military and police personnel; people with illnesses requiring long-term treatment according to the list of the Ministry of Health at one of the following medical facilities: medical facilities with the function of protecting the health of cadres; medical facilities for leprosy, tuberculosis, lung, mental health, geriatrics, and traditional medicine in an organizational structure with a specialized department in one of the following forms: department or center/institute.
In addition, other subjects, if necessary, according to the characteristics of the medical examination and treatment facility and actual local requirements, will also be registered for initial health insurance treatment at the two above-mentioned grade 1 provincial hospitals.
In 2025, Dong Nai General Hospital will be allocated more than 122,900 health insurance cards; Thong Nhat General Hospital will be allocated more than 86,400 health insurance cards.
