T-54B tank number 843 crashed into the side gate of the Independence Palace at noon on April 30, 1975 and was recognized as a national treasure by the Prime Minister in 2012. 50 years ago, the crew of tank 843 included: tank commander Bui Quang Than, driver Lu Van Hoa, gunner number 1 Thai Ba Minh, gunner number 2 Nguyen Van Ky.

Tank 843 is currently on display at the Vietnam Military History Museum and is one of the museum's highlights.

In addition to tank 843, the Vietnam Military History Museum is currently displaying T-54B tank number 985, which had excellent combat achievements in the battle to liberate Buon Ma Thuot town.

T-59 tank number 390 crashed into the main gate of the Independence Palace at noon on April 30, 1975 and is currently on display at the Armored Forces Museum. Tank 390 was recognized as a national treasure by the Prime Minister in 2012.

50 years ago, the crew of tank 390 crashed into the gate of the Independence Palace, including: tank commander Vu Dang Toan, driver Nguyen Van Tap, gunner number 1 Ngo Si Nguyen, and gunner number 2 Le Van Phuong.

Next to tank 390, the Armored Forces Museum is displaying tank T-54 number 980, the symbol of victory in the battle to liberate Buon Ma Thuot town in 1975.
