Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Son, Rector of Hanoi National University of Education, commented: With this year's score distribution, universities can confidently use the results of the high school graduation exam as a basis for admission. This year's exam has a number of positive innovations, especially the application of modern testing techniques. In addition, the exam content is built closely following the 2018 General Education Program, including many practical data, showing that the trend of assessing students' real abilities is being clearly implemented.
According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Son, it is noteworthy that students have begun to adapt quickly to changes in teaching, learning and testing methods. Through analysis of the score distribution, it can be seen that 10 points are distributed in many different localities, which is a testament to equality in access to knowledge. Even in remote, isolated and disadvantaged areas, there are still candidates who achieved absolute scores, showing that the ability to learn and access the new program is not limited to places with favorable conditions.
