On February 18th (the second day of Tet), many destinations in Ho Chi Minh City continued to welcome locals and domestic and international tourists who came to enjoy themselves, sightsee, and admire the blooming apricot and peach blossoms.
One of the destinations attracting the attention of tourists is the Can Gio Spring Festival, which is taking place throughout the Tet holiday (from now until February 28th) at Vinhomes Green Paradise Can Gio.
Visitors can not only check in with the vibrant colors characteristic of the traditional Tet holiday from the system of entrance gates, large displays, and artistic miniature scenes in the shape of the Year of the Horse, but also enjoy admiring hundreds of apricot and peach blossom trees, and taking photos with colorful hot air balloons…

For the first time, the Can Gio Spring Festival series, including the spring flower festival, hot air balloon festival, paragliding demonstration, and a food festival featuring cuisine from all three regions of Vietnam, offers a new and unique experience for visitors.

At the Spring Flower Festival area, visitors will have the opportunity to admire and take photos with approximately 300 peach blossom trees from the North and 300 apricot blossom trees from the South.

The centerpiece of the spring route is a 150-year-old Phu Quy apricot blossom tree, transported directly from An Giang . This is the largest ancient yellow apricot blossom tree in the Western region of Vietnam to date.

In the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, Nguyen Hue Flower Street is becoming a "must-visit" check-in spot for locals and tourists this Tet holiday. The flower street will be open to the public from 7 PM on February 15th to 9 PM on February 22nd (i.e., from the 28th day of the 12th lunar month to the 6th day of the 1st lunar month).

With the theme "Spring Gathering - Steadfastly Moving Forward," the Ho Chi Minh City Flower Street for Tet Binh Ngo 2026 was organized for the first time simultaneously, connecting three locations: Nguyen Hue Walking Street in Saigon Ward, Central Park in Binh Duong Ward, and Quang Trung Park in Vung Tau Ward. Many tourists enthusiastically checked in at Nguyen Hue Flower Street this Tet.

The 2026 Lunar New Year Flower Street will for the first time offer two unique experiences in one space. By day, it's a vibrant symphony of colors under the spring sun, and by night, it's a festival of light and groundbreaking mapping technology, making it an unmissable spring destination in Ho Chi Minh City.

The central area of Ho Chi Minh City is also bustling with the Tet Book Street Festival 2026, taking place from now until 10 PM on February 22nd (the 6th day of Tet) with the theme "Spring Gathering - Steadfastly Moving Forward".

The Book Street Festival is a unique cultural event that has played a crucial role in promoting and spreading reading culture in Ho Chi Minh City for over a decade. With its core value of ushering in the new year with knowledge and a fresh perspective, the festival transforms the traditional spring travel experience into a journey that cultivates lasting spiritual values.

The Suoi Tien Spring Festival 2026, themed "Vietnamese Tet - A Century of Memories," at the Suoi Tien Cultural Tourist Area opened on the first day of Tet and is open to visitors from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM daily.
Locals and tourists flocked to Suoi Tien during Tet 2026.

The festival stands out with its meticulously designed Vietnamese Tet (Lunar New Year) festival space, harmoniously blending cultural architecture, natural landscapes, experiential activities, and new games making their debut, suitable for a wide range of visitors.
