With many large, steep mountain ranges, the Central Highlands region is generously endowed by nature with many beautiful waterfalls. One of them is Hang En waterfall, also known as K50 waterfall, with its pristine, magical beauty, like a silk strip across the old forest.

K50 Waterfall is known as the "muse" in the middle of the jungle. This is a natural masterpiece hidden deep in the primeval forest of Kon Chu Rang Nature Reserve. With water gushing from a height of more than 50 m, creating mist and rainbows at the foot of the waterfall, K50 paints a stunning scene in the middle of the highland mountains and forests.

The journey to K50 waterfall is not easy but extremely interesting. From Pleiku City, visitors travel by car along Highway 19, then follow Truong Son Dong road to Kon Chu Rang Nature Reserve. From here, the trekking journey through the forest really begins.

During the April 30 - May 1 holiday, we witnessed many tourists from inside and outside Gia Lai province coming here to enjoy the beauty of the waterfall. Mr. Nguyen Hong Dien, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, shared: "I not only came to admire the majestic beauty of the waterfall, but also to give my children a memorable experience in the mountains and forests of the Central Highlands. It is truly beautiful!".

The 8-10 km trekking route through the forest is a real challenge, especially for young children. However, the beauty of the primeval forest with the chirping of birds, the chirping of insects and the cool green canopy of trees makes all the fatigue of the journey seem to disappear.

Every time you encounter a small stream or a slippery slope, careful steps are an opportunity to feel nature with all your senses. If you want it easier, you can leave your car outside, hire someone to take you by motorbike and walk about 1 km to the foot of the waterfall. However, many visitors choose to experience it on foot. From a distance of more than 1 km, you can hear the captivating sound of the waterfall.

After nearly 3 hours of trekking through the forest, the worthy reward appeared before our eyes. The waterfall poured down from a high cliff, creating white foam, creating a misty mist under the sunlight that penetrated the forest canopy. The surrounding space echoed with the sound of powerful water falling. Along with the roar of the waterfall were all the sounds of the old forest such as birds chirping, insects chirping... All blended together to create a fascinating polyphonic mix from nature.

The waterfall looks like a giant silk strip. Beautiful beyond imagination. That is the feeling of many tourists when they exclaim in amazement before that majestic natural scene.

At this time, the highland weather in the eastern region of Gia Lai is dry, sunny, with little rain, very favorable for the journey to conquer. In particular, the K50 waterfall becomes more gentle, the water level lowers to reveal unique rock outcrops, making it easy for visitors to move and fully admire the beauty of the waterfall from both banks.

K50 Waterfall is not only a tourist destination, but also a place for everyone to find a sense of closeness to nature, cherish the wild values ​​that nature bestows. I have never seen any tourist come here to enjoy the beauty of the waterfall and be disappointed. Western tourists are even more fascinated. Hopefully there will be more services and promotions to bring the beauty of K50 waterfall further and further, attracting more tourists to the plateau."
