Joy on new construction projects

With determination and effort from investors and construction units, a series of projects have been put into use, not only contributing to the completion of infrastructure but also stabilizing people's lives and promoting socio-economic development.

Meeting people's expectations

Along the banks of the Ban Thach River, students no longer have to endure dusty conditions in the sun or muddy conditions in the rain to get to school, but instead travel on a smooth, clean concrete road. This road is one of the accompanying components of the Ban Thach River embankment project to prevent erosion on the left bank, specifically the section from Phu Da to Ban Thach Bridge in Dong Hoa Town, which has recently been invested in and put into use. Residents now enjoy convenient travel, transportation of goods, and peace of mind during the rainy season and floods.

For example, in the town of Cung Son, Son Hoa district, since the Ba River erosion control embankment (with a total investment of 245 billion VND) was put into use, the lives of people living along the river have changed significantly. The riverbank, which was once frequently eroded, has been reinforced with a sturdy embankment featuring two overlapping slopes, reaching an elevation of over 40 meters. In addition to items such as bridges over streams, steps, and embankment locks, a wide concrete road has been built along the embankment, becoming one of the main roads in the area.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoi from Cung Son town (Son Hoa district) happily said: "The embankment has been completed, and the people here are extremely excited. Not only is it spacious, clean, and beautiful, connecting to transportation routes in the region, but from now on, people here don't have to worry about floods anymore. Every morning, everyone has space to walk and exercise along the embankment, and chat lively with each other."

Although not yet in use, the completion of Tran Binh Trong High School (Phu Hoa district) has brought excitement to students and teachers. The new school has been built with modern facilities, ensuring it can effectively serve the teaching and learning activities of the school.

According to the Board of Directors of Tran Binh Trong High School, the school buildings have been invested in with modern facilities and complete equipment, which has made both teachers and students very happy. This will create motivation for the school to continuously strive to teach and meet the requirements of the new general education program.

Creating momentum for socio-economic development

Infrastructure investment is one of the decisive factors contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality. Therefore, basic construction investment is being decisively directed by all levels and sectors; this includes not only public investment projects but also projects outside the budget.

The recently completed residential project at plot number 2, east of Hung Vuong Street, Tuy Hoa City (HTL Seaside) is a prime example. The project comprises a complex of shophouses and a commercial center with 120 townhouses, each with 9 floors and a rooftop, contributing to the development of Tuy Hoa's urban infrastructure.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Hai, General Director of HTL Vietnam Investment, Construction and Real Estate Business Joint Stock Company (the investor), stated: "The HTL Seaside project is not just a real estate project, but also part of a sustainable socio-economic development strategy. Built to high standards, the project meets housing needs and provides investment and business opportunities for individuals and organizations."

To maximize the effectiveness of investment in projects, the Provincial People's Committee has directed project owners to register their plans for disbursing public investment capital in 2025 for each project on a monthly and quarterly basis. Relevant departments, agencies, and localities are actively coordinating land clearance to accelerate project implementation progress; avoiding delays and waste.

According to Mr. Tran Xuan Tuc, Director of the Department of Construction, infrastructure projects attracting investment have made a significant contribution to developing a modern urban space for the locality. The rows of townhouses and commercial shophouses create a civilized and modern urban landscape, leaving a positive impression on residents and tourists. Besides HTL Seaside, there are 23 housing projects currently underway in the province, expected to be a highlight in attracting investment and aligning with the socio-economic development conditions.

Meanwhile, public investment projects are also being implemented urgently. In particular, to celebrate National Day on September 2nd, the Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board is rushing to complete the Provincial Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital and Luong Van Chanh Specialized High School. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Chanh, Deputy Director of the Board, said: "These are important projects in education and healthcare for the province, with high expectations from the people. Taking advantage of the current favorable weather, the investor has directed the construction team to focus on completing the final items, ready for operation according to plan. The investor is also coordinating with the contractor to ensure the aesthetic appeal of the projects, creating a highlight in the urban infrastructure chain."
