Ninh Binh aims to welcome 20 million tourists in 2026.

On January 16th, the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism held a conference to summarize its work in 2025 and outline key tasks for 2026.

Comrade Bui Van Manh, Director of the Provincial Department of Tourism, presented Certificates of Commendation to individuals who have achieved outstanding results in promoting Ninh Binh tourism.

In 2025, Ninh Binh tourism is expected to continue its positive growth momentum, with many large-scale cultural, sports , and tourism events successfully organized. The province is estimated to welcome over 19.4 million visitors, including 2.2 million international tourists; tourism revenue is projected to reach 21.27 trillion VND, demonstrating the increasing attractiveness of Ninh Binh as a destination in the international market.

The accommodation sector has shown a clear improvement. The number of visitors staying at accommodation establishments is estimated at over 4.25 million, an increase of 26.65%; the total number of visitor nights reached over 4.84 million, an increase of 23.4%, reflecting the trend of increasing length of stay, spending levels, and quality of tourism consumption. Total revenue from tourism activities in 2025 is estimated at over 21,278 billion VND, an increase of nearly 37% compared to 2024, continuing to make a significant contribution to the province's socio-economic growth.

Along with its growth in scale, Ninh Binh's tourism brand is increasingly firmly established on the national and international tourism map; in particular, the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex is among the top 1% of the world's most popular destinations.

Comrade Nguyen Trung Khanh, Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, delivered a speech at the conference.

Highly appreciating the outstanding results achieved by Ninh Binh's tourism industry, Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh, Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, affirmed that Ninh Binh is currently one of Vietnam's leading tourist destinations; especially tourism products associated with culture, festivals, ecology, and nature, which have established the local tourism brand. In addition, the infrastructure, accommodation, and service products are increasingly developing in a synchronized, professional, and high-quality manner, creating an attractive appeal for tourists.

Comrade Tran Song Tung, Standing Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee, expressed his confidence that the province's tourism industry will continue to develop even more strongly, making increasingly important contributions to socio-economic development, and rightfully becoming a key economic sector in the province's new development phase.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Song Tung, Standing Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that the province has made a clear shift in its tourism development thinking, from focusing on quantitative growth to focusing on quality, cultural depth, and sustainability; gradually linking tourism with the development of heritage economy and cultural industries.

According to Mr. Bui Van Manh, Director of the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism, the province aims to welcome 20 million tourists in 2026, including 3 million international visitors. The tourism sector will continue to promote the image of destinations, improve tourism management and operation capabilities, and expand international cooperation. In addition, it will strongly develop green tourism and community-based tourism, linking heritage preservation with improving livelihoods for local people; placing service quality, tourist satisfaction, and community benefits at the center of sustainable development.

On this occasion, the Provincial Department of Tourism awarded many collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements in tourism activities; and presented prizes for the Ninh Binh Tourism Photo Contest 2025.
