Initially, Ninh Giang district planted 219 sandalwood trees along three routes: District Road DH01 from the Ve Village Cultural House (Dong Tam commune) to the intersection of District Road DH01 and Provincial Road 396; Nguyen Luong Bang road from Tay culvert to the end of Dong Tam commune; and Cong Sao street. Afterward, the Ninh Giang District People's Committee will study further planting and caring for trees along other inner-city roads.
In 2024, Ninh Giang district aims to plant 50,000 trees. As of April 6th, the entire district has planted more than 35,000 fruit trees and shade trees.
