Ninh Phuoc: Summary of 10 years of implementing natural disaster prevention and overcoming consequences

On the afternoon of June 4, the Ninh Phuoc District Military Party Committee held a conference to review 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 689-NQ/QUTW, dated October 10, 2014 of the Central Military Commission on preventing and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, catastrophes, and search and rescue until 2020 and the following years.

Over the past 10 years, the Party Committee - Military Command of Ninh Phuoc district has coordinated with relevant agencies to advise the district People's Committee to complete the District Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue Command (PCTT&TKCN). Enhance capacity and responsibility, effectively carry out inspection, supervision, and guidance on the implementation of PCTT&TKCN and proposed plans.

Leaders of Ninh Phuoc district and delegates attended the conference to summarize 10 years of implementing natural disaster prevention and overcoming consequences.

In the coming time, the Party Committee - Military Command of Ninh Phuoc district will continue to effectively implement Resolution No. 689-NQ/QUTW on prevention, overcoming consequences of natural disasters, catastrophes, rescue - relief. Proactively participate in the implementation of prevention, overcoming consequences of natural disasters, catastrophes, rescue - relief; adapt to climate change, minimize damage to people and property of the People, the State, and enterprises. Advise the District Party Committee - District People's Committee to direct the People's Committees of communes, towns, and self-defense units to build local forces, invest in purchasing means to serve well the tasks of PCTT&TKCN; regularly practice to improve skills to effectively handle natural disaster situations.
