Previously, at around 4:50 p.m. on July 24, Quoc Viet Commune Police received a report from the public that Ha Van Linh, (born in 1991), residing in village 3, Quoc Viet Commune, Lang Son Province, jumped into the river at the Ky Cung River section through Na Na Village, Lang Son Province, and was swept away by the water.
After receiving the report from the Quoc Viet Commune Police, the Quoc Viet Commune Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue Command Board urgently organized forces to be present at the scene and coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department and the Lang Son Provincial Police Department to deploy measures and means to search for Mr. Ha Van Linh. However, due to heavy rain for many days, water from upstream poured in, causing the river water level to rise, the water flowed rapidly, and so far the search force has not found any trace of Mr. Linh.
The Command Committee for Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue of Quoc Viet Commune informs all local people, agencies, organizations, unions, and armed forces that when there is information related to the above incident, it should promptly inform the Command Committee for Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue of Quoc Viet Commune for timely rescue and support.
