According to the decision on allocating 10th grade enrollment quotas recently issued by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, public high schools in Ho Chi Minh City this year will enroll a total of about 70,000 students in 10th grade.
Specific 10th grade enrollment targets for each school are as follows:
Among them, the schools with the highest enrollment targets are: Marie Curie High School (District 3); Hung Vuong (District 5); Tay Thanh (Tan Phu District); Nguyen Trung Truc, Tran Hung Dao (Go Vap District), Hoang Hoa Tham (Binh Thanh District), Vo Thi Sau (Binh Thanh District), Truong Chinh (District 12), Nguyen Cong Tru (Go Vap District), Phu Nhuan (Phu Nhuan District).
In the specialized classes, Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted enrolls 805 students for 13 specialized subjects, an increase of 35 students for the specialized IT class. Of which, the 10th grade classes specializing in Japanese, French, Chinese, history, geography, and IT each enroll 35 students (1 class), while other specialized classes enroll 70 or 105 students (2 or 3 classes). Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted enrolls 455 students for specialized classes.
Schools enrolling integrated English 10th graders include: Tran Dai Nghia High School, Bui Thi Xuan, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Nguyen Huu Huan, Mac Dinh Chi, Saigon Practical High School, Nguyen Thuong Hien, Phu Nhuan, Gia Dinh, Nguyen Huu Cau.
Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training stipulates that this year, candidates can register for a maximum of 8 wishes, including 3 wishes for regular 10th grade, 2 wishes for specialized classes, and 3 wishes for integrated English classes.
Students are expected to register online on the 10th grade admission system at ts10.hcm.edu.vn.
