"Still passionate about tennis"
That was the opinion of many tennis players participating in the first tournament organized by Saigon Business Magazine in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Tennis - Pickleball Federation (HTF) at the Becamex tennis court cluster in the Community Sports Center, Huynh Thuc Khang Street (in the old Binh Duong New City, now Ho Chi Minh City).

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu My, General Secretary of HTF, said that the massive development of pickleball has led to the fall of many former tennis players, causing a significant impact on the amateur tennis force. However, in such a "difficult" tennis context, the fact that more than 80 players still participated in this first tournament is a valuable thing. This shows that most amateur tennis players are still very "passionate" about tennis, still consider it an official sport in the Olympic system that needs to maintain training and be ready to compete.

Mr. Tran Hoang, Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Entrepreneur Magazine, Head of the Organizing Committee, affirmed that besides pickleball which will be held in early November, tennis is still a sport that is loved by many people.
The tournament took place on October 4 and 5, also on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Uncle Ho's letter to the business community (October 13, 1945 - October 13, 2025). At the same time, it also celebrated the 21st anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2025) and raised charity funds to support people affected by natural disasters in the Central region.
Two veteran tennis players Le Hai and Do Van Luy will be present.

Of the more than 80 players, more than half are businessmen, about 15 press players and nearly 20 female players will participate. HTF has also considered the participants to arrange balanced and suitable matches. This promises to bring many fiery, thrilling and interesting matches on the Becamex stadium cluster.
