The tournament, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary, will kick off on July 24 and end on August 26 with the participation of 11 top regional teams.

The 2026 ASEAN Hyundai Cup™ takes place after the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada, making it a great time for Southeast Asian fans to watch the region's teams compete.

The official draw for the ASEAN Hyundai Cup™ 2026 will be held next year (date to be announced later). The two play-off matches to determine the final group stage ticket will be played in a home-and-away format on June 2 and 9.
The 10-team group stage will take place from July 24 to August 8, in a round-robin format across the region. The knockout rounds (first and second legs) will begin on August 15 and conclude on August 26.

The Vietnamese team is the current ASEAN Cup champion. At the tournament taking place in late 2024 and early 2025, coach Kim Sang-sik and his team defeated Thailand with a total score of 5-3 in the final to win the third Southeast Asian championship title in history.
