The electronic Party member handbook helps fisherman Nguyen Van Buong (on the right) keep track of information and the results of the Party branch's leadership work.

Since installing the electronic Party Member Handbook software, fisherman Nguyen Van Buong, from Hai Ninh village, Binh Son commune (Quang Ngai province), has been able to access all information and results of the Party branch's leadership in implementing political tasks during the month, as well as the performance of Party members' duties, and even contribute opinions directly on the system.

"Because I often have to go out to sea for long periods, I can't fully attend the village Party branch meetings. This software is very useful to me, because no matter where we are or when, we can look up information related to the Party's resolutions and directives,...to understand and grasp them better," fisherman Buong shared.

The Hai Ninh village Party branch has 34 members, including 3 fishermen. Approximately two days before each monthly meeting, the Party branch committee updates the meeting agenda so that members can review the materials and contribute their opinions.

Thanks to this, party members who are fishermen and unable to attend can still update themselves on the Party branch's resolutions and local situation via the software on their smartphones.

According to Duong Duy Din, Secretary of the Hai Ninh Village Party Branch: “Initially, when we first installed the electronic Party Member Handbook software, many Party members did not regularly access the software to read and learn information. So I had to remind and guide them to use the features proficiently.”

Thanks to the software, many party members who don't attend meetings can still keep up with the content and contribute their opinions to the Party branch. I myself also save time because the Party branch meeting schedule and documents are all updated on the software.”

Using the electronic Party Member Handbook software facilitates research in advance of the program and content of monthly meetings.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Thuong, a Party branch member of residential area 27, Nghia Lo ward, said that because she had time to study the documents before the meeting, she could contribute constructive opinions that were focused and relevant, helping to improve the quality of the Party branch's activities. Thanks to the Electronic Party Member Handbook software, Party members are provided with information quickly, accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.

Through this, each party member acts as a propagandist, disseminating the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and regulations to the masses.

According to Truong Thi My Trang , Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Party Agencies in Quang Ngai province , the implementation of the electronic Party Member Handbook software has contributed to changing the awareness and habits of Party committees, officials, and Party members regarding the application of information technology and digital transformation in Party building; the connection between Party committees and Party members, especially those working far from home and rarely participating in activities in their place of residence, has been significantly improved.

To gradually digitize Party work, aiming for a scientific, flexible, efficient, and time-saving working method, Quang Ngai province strives for 100% of active Party members to have smartphones that are installed and proficient in using the software.

"We will improve and enhance the quality of the Editorial Team for the Electronic Party Member Handbook of the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies to promptly process, edit, and update official, directional information for Party members."

"We regularly upload official documents and answers to questions from Party members about Party building work onto the software, creating favorable conditions for Party members to search and refer to them," Ms. Trang said.
