On August 9, comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a working session with the People's Committee of Phan Rang - Thap Cham City to listen to reports on the situation and results of implementing the task of disbursing public investment capital plans, supporting to remove difficulties for businesses, administrative reform indicators in the first 7 months and tasks and solutions for the last months of 2023. Attending were comrade Chau Thi Thanh Ha, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Phan Rang - Thap Cham City Party Committee.

In the first 7 months of the year, the city's economy continued to maintain a good growth rate, with the total production value of all sectors estimated at 11,716.38 billion VND, up 9.75% over the same period; state budget revenue reached 505.95/681.529 billion VND, of which the balanced revenue according to decentralization was estimated at 269.8/321.2 billion VND, reaching 84% of the plan. Investment in city development was focused on; disbursement of public investment capital reached 77.9% of the plan. National target programs were focused on implementation; urban management was directed resolutely, ensuring urban order, environmental sanitation, and urban technical infrastructure was focused on investment; land acquisition, compensation and site clearance were promoted, ensuring the progress of projects in the area. The cultural and social fields were proactively implemented according to the set plan, ensuring the progress of the implementation of the teaching and learning plan; state management of culture was strengthened, social security policies were fully and promptly implemented. National defense and political security, social order and safety were maintained; defense drills in wards and communes were completed; criminal offenses and traffic accidents were controlled.

Concluding the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the efforts of the People's Committee of Phan Rang - Thap Cham City in the past time, especially the disbursement of public investment capital, mobilization of investment resources, site clearance, creation of landscapes, environment... The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the City People's Committee in the last months of the year to continue focusing on reviewing and synchronously completing planning projects as a basis for management, calling for investment, and implementing socio -economic development projects. Focus on building an urban development program, especially building Phan Rang - Thap Cham into a smart city; promoting the advantages of coastal urban areas, promoting comprehensive tourism development, connecting with tourist destinations in the whole province and the region. Promote solutions for disbursing public investment capital in the area, striving to achieve 100% of the assigned capital plan by the end of 2023. Effectively implement urban order management; Create changes in state management of land and urban areas, ensuring synchronization, civilization and modernity. Promote administrative reform tasks, especially for procedures related to land and construction permits; promote digital transformation in the city. Strictly implement administrative discipline and order; further enhance the sense of responsibility and work efficiency of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers.
