Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Viet Oanh congratulated Bac Giang Parish on the occasion of Christmas.

BAC NINH - On the occasion of Christmas 2025, on the afternoon of December 16th, a delegation from Bac Ninh province, led by Mr. Nguyen Viet Oanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, visited, presented gifts, and offered congratulations to the priests of Bac Giang Parish. Accompanying the delegation were representatives from several provincial departments, agencies, and Bac Giang ward. Receiving the delegation were Father Nguyen Van Hoi, Parish Priest of Bac Giang Parish, and several other priests.

Here, on behalf of the provincial leadership, Comrade Nguyen Viet Oanh informed the priests about some outstanding achievements in the socio -economic situation of Bac Ninh province in 2025. In the context of the general difficulties facing the country and the world, 2025 is the first year of implementing the new Bac Ninh province model after the administrative reorganization, and also the final year of implementing the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2021-2025. With the comprehensive leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, the close supervision of the Provincial People's Council, the decisive direction of the Provincial People's Committee, and the consensus of the people and the business community, Bac Ninh province has achieved many important results in various fields.

The province's socio-economic development targets have been largely achieved, with 17 out of 18 targets meeting or exceeding the plan, and many indicators ranking among the top in the country. Economic growth is estimated at 10.27%, ranking 5th nationwide, 4th in the Red River Delta region, and one of the 6 provinces and cities to achieve double-digit growth by 2025; per capita GRDP is estimated at US$5,852, 1.16 times higher than the national average. The socio-cultural sector has achieved many outstanding results. Policies for war veterans, social security, and poverty reduction have been comprehensively implemented; the people's living standards have been steadily improving.

Representatives from the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee presented gifts to congratulate the priests.

Local defense and military work has been implemented synchronously and comprehensively; political security and social order have been maintained… Comrade Nguyen Viet Oanh emphasized that the above results were achieved thanks in large part to the contributions of all strata of the people, including priests and Catholic parishioners in Bac Ninh province. He expressed his hope that in the coming time, priests and Catholic parishioners will continue to strictly abide by the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws, live virtuous lives, and actively participate with all strata of the people in patriotic emulation movements, building an increasingly strong national unity. Comrade Nguyen Viet Oanh wished the priests, religious leaders, and all parishioners a peaceful and happy Christmas 2025.

On this occasion, Comrade Nguyen Viet Oanh presented flowers and gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to congratulate Bac Giang Parish. The Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee and Bac Giang Ward also presented flowers and gifts to offer congratulations.

Father Nguyen Van Hoi expressed his gratitude for the attention shown by the leaders of Bac Ninh province to the priests, dignitaries, and parishioners of Bac Giang Parish. He also affirmed that, in his capacity, he will continue to propagate and encourage parishioners to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations, fulfill their civic duties, strengthen solidarity and unity, and contribute to the development of Bac Ninh province.
