"If we are destined, we will meet again in mission A80"
Amidst the solemn and heroic atmosphere at Ba Dinh Square during the rehearsal of the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on the evening of August 24, where more than 16,000 soldiers were devoting all their hearts to their sacred mission, a simple love story quietly blossomed.

It is the love story of soldier Ho Van Quyen (male Special Forces, from Tay Ninh ) and Nguyen Le Truc Nghi (female Guerrilla of the South, from Ho Chi Minh City).
In the few moments when tens of thousands of soldiers took a break before the general training session in front of Ba Dinh Square, Quyen and Nghi took the opportunity to find each other among the "sea of people".
They don't have much time, just a few short moments are enough to give each other words of love and sincere encouragement, dispelling all the fatigue of the arduous training hours.
Quyen did not hesitate to express the feelings he had kept in his heart for so long, placing a very light kiss on Truc Nghi's forehead, but it was all the longing, respect and overwhelming happiness . Their eyes met, radiant with happiness that could not be expressed in words.
"There is nothing happier," Truc Nghi shared, when all her time is devoted to the duties of the army and the country.
Truc Nghi recounted that her heart was moved by the fateful encounters during mission A50 - the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification day. In the scorching heat of nearly 40 degrees Celsius, the image of a tall, dark-skinned, strong soldier, holding a gun tightly, despite being drenched in sweat but still smiling brightly, was deeply engraved in her mind .
That was the moment their love blossomed, overcoming the hardships of military service. After A50, they said goodbye to each other, didn't text much, just promised "if we're destined to meet again on mission A80".
And then, the miracle happened, that "fate" really brought them back together in mission A80 when they gathered in Hanoi .
During this time, meetings were still extremely rare, just short moments after rehearsals to share about the training process and give each other words of encouragement.
Both expressed their determination to complete the A80 mission well.

What's more special is that the moment of confession was witnessed by hundreds of soldiers and even respected leaders.
The female soldier of the Southern Female Guerrilla Bloc said that after completing the training session that day, her boss suddenly took Quyen by the hand so they could meet for a few minutes.
At first Nghi was shy, but with the enthusiastic encouragement of her superiors and teammates, she became bold and felt an indescribable sense of happiness.
"Perhaps this will be the most unforgettable memory of my life. At that time, the boss told us to meet and that we had to complete our mission well," Nghi recalled. She felt grateful for everyone's help and love.
After the training session, the clip recording that happy moment quickly spread on social networks, attracting millions of views, becoming proof of the beautiful love between soldiers.
“We are very happy to be loved by everyone. In the future, we will encourage each other to complete our tasks and hope to become a part of each other's lives,” Nghi continued.
