Visiting and giving gifts to the family of a worker whose house burned down in Can Giuoc commune

On the afternoon of August 25, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province, Chairman of the Labor Federation of Tay Ninh province Tran Le Duy led the delegation to visit, encourage and give gifts to the family of Ms. Phan Thi Tram My, residing in Muong Chai hamlet, Can Giuoc commune, currently a union member of the FuLuh Shoe Company Limited's grassroots union, whose house was burned down.

The delegation visited, encouraged, and shared with My's family, and also presented a gift worth 3 million VND in cash, helping her family overcome the current difficulties. In addition, the grassroots Trade Union and the Warehouse Department of FuLuh Shoes Company Limited supported My's family with 11 million VND and a daily necessities.

Before that, at around 4pm on August 22, Ms. My’s family discovered a fire, which was not extinguished until after 5pm the same day. After the fire, Ms. My’s house suffered heavy damage, with walls blown out, glass doors broken, and the roof and household items completely damaged.

Ms. My shared: “The fire is suspected to have been caused by an electrical short circuit that spread from the bedroom to the outside. Because no one was home at the time, it was not detected and handled in time, leading to a large fire.”

My’s family currently has 4 members. She is a factory worker and is on maternity leave, her husband is a freelancer, and she has 2 children, a 7th grader and a 5-month-old. The house fire and property damage have made My’s family even more difficult.

Hopefully, the timely attention and meaningful gifts above will help Ms. My's family overcome this difficult period, overcome the consequences, and thereby stabilize their lives./.
