Signing 21 cooperation agreements, creating breakthroughs in high technology with businesses

On August 25, in Da Nang City, the University and Enterprise Cooperation Forum with the theme "Cooperation of "3 houses" in training and research to develop high technology and strategic technology" took place with the participation of nearly 120 delegates from management agencies, associations, enterprises and leaders of 50 higher education and vocational institutions across the country.

The forum was organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in coordination with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the University of Danang.

At the forum, Danang University and many universities and research institutes signed 21 cooperation documents with leading corporations and enterprises in the fields of high technology and strategic technology.

These agreements focus on human resource training and applied research in key areas such as: artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, big data, cloud computing, quantum computing, next-generation mobile networks (5G/6G), robotics and automation technology, semiconductor chip technology, new energy, advanced materials, aerospace, rare earth technology, ocean, underground and cyber security.

Speaking at the forum, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son emphasized that comprehensive and synchronous cooperation between the "3 houses" (State - school - enterprise) is the "golden key" to turn policies on science - technology development, innovation, and building high-quality human resources into reality.

However, Mr. Son also pointed out that in the past, this cooperative relationship only stopped at initial support activities such as internships, practice, and recruitment.

“It is time for us to set higher goals, requiring deeper engagement, co-research, co-production and commercialization of scientific research results,” said Deputy Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son.

According to the Deputy Minister of Education and Training, the three subjects (three houses) cannot be separated.

The State plays the role of guiding, creating institutions and policies; schools have the mission of training, researching, and developing knowledge; businesses are the main force in applying, transferring technology, creating products and economic values.

This connection will create a combined strength for the country to make breakthroughs in high-tech and strategic technology fields that are being prioritized.
