Born healthy like any other child, misfortune suddenly struck Tran Tra My when she was only 3 months old.
Through the program's open report, the reason why the female writer was tied to a wheelchair was gradually revealed. At that time, My's body began to have tiny dots, which became more and more severe and she had to be hospitalized for surgery. Her legs were shortened and she could not move on her own, her hands were cramped and could only move one finger, and her voice was not clear...
From a disabled girl, Tran Tra My is now not only fluent in Vietnamese and English but also a poet and writer. The journey of "Sowing seeds of the soul" will be told in Love Station , airing at 10am on December 16 on VTV1.

Unable to go to school, having to depend on others for all her movements and activities, coupled with her low self-esteem and inferiority complex, there were times when Tra My thought of negative things. However, seeing her younger sister diligently studying, Tra My silently followed, laboriously spelling each word, then practicing scribbling on paper. There were times when her hands and body were tired, but every time she wrote a word or spelled a sentence, Tra My felt more joy. From those "secretly learned" words, Tra My was brought to the pages of books, opening up a vast life for a person who was only attached to four walls all year round.
At the age of 14, Tra My started writing poetry, which was a turning point in her life when her work became known to many people: "My first essay was broadcast on Quang Tri Radio and Television , at that moment, hope lit up inside me. I had found it - the joy of literature", Tra My said.
Since then, the love for poetry and literature has given Tra My faith and hope in life. At the age of 21, she was exposed to computers and realized that typing with one finger was easier than writing, so Tra My began to conquer the keyboard and practice writing her stories with just one finger.
A colorful life opened up for the young girl. Tra My thought that writing was not to become a writer but first and foremost to change herself, to write to speak, to release and to move towards a different life. Therefore, the girl once again determined to change her life when she decided to go to Ho Chi Minh City to start a career.
In 2007, the girl Tran Tra My left the sunny and windy land of Quang Tri for the South. Tra My made a living by writing, writing for newspapers and taking many additional classes in media to earn extra money. Up to now, writer Tran Tra My has had nearly 12 years of independent living, taking care of herself, studying and improving her knowledge and life skills, publishing many impressive books such as Dream of Angel's Feet (2009), We Are Spring (2010), Love... on Every Finger (2013), and most recently, the book Believe in Kindness published by the Culture - Literature Publishing House.
Although her health is not as good as normal people, always having to rely on a wheelchair to move, the female writer often travels from North to South to participate in her own programs as well as community projects. Not stopping at publishing books, Tran Tra My is implementing the project "Bringing books to prisons", is the co-founder of the "Angel's feet dream" fund, helping disabled people love literature, and is a goodwill ambassador for many charity programs.
The Love Station with the theme "Sowing seeds of the soul" continues to be a must-see destination in the familiar time slot of 10am on Saturday, December 16 on VTV1 channel.
