8th grade female student won special prize in the contest "I draw volunteer colors"

On October 27, in Hai Phong City, the Central Council of the Young Pioneers and the Colokit art supplies brand - Thien Long Group Joint Stock Company organized the summary of the 2024 Color Festival, awarding prizes to the children's painting contest with the theme "I draw volunteer colors".

Speaking at the program, Mr. Le Anh Quan, Vice Chairman of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers, Director of the Center for Support and Development of Vietnamese Children, said that after more than 5 months of implementation, the organizing committee received more than 140,000 paintings from children across the country.

The paintings are presented with many creative perspectives, rich content, and vivid forms of expression.

“With more than 140 thousand participating works - each of the children's works is a beautiful, bright color blending together to create brilliant volunteer colors imbued with humanistic values ​​and national spirit, spreading a beautiful image of today's Vietnamese youth generation in society,” said Mr. Quan.

Mr. Quan said that the judges and the organizing committee of the contest were very impressed by many outstanding and typical works of art by children, such as: Youth Vegetable Garden by Nguyen Phuc Gia Han ( Tien Giang province), Supporting the 500KV power line project, circuit 3 by Tran Pham Tra My ( Ben Tre province), Colors of volunteering by Bui Thi Phuong Linh ( Hai Duong province), We take care of the red address in the revolutionary homeland by Ly Phuong Chi ( Cao Bang province)...

According to Mr. Quan, this is not only a meaningful activity of Vietnamese children responding to the activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the "Three Ready" movement, 10 years of the "Year of Volunteer Youth", 25 years of the Summer Volunteer Youth Campaign, but also a forum for children to express their feelings, beliefs and pride in the care and guidance of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the members and youth who are always devoted to their beloved juniors and ready for the community.

43 individual awards were given to outstanding paintings.

The organizers said that this is the 7th year the two units have coordinated to implement the program "Color Festival", with the desire to create a healthy and useful playground for teenagers and children; encourage creativity to contribute to nurturing and developing painting and fine arts skills, helping children promote their talents and develop comprehensively.

The Color Festival - Children's Painting Competition 2024, which was held from May to September, received positive responses from the Youth Union Councils at all levels; palaces, children's houses, youth activity centers, Team bases; teachers, parents and especially children across the country.

From more than 140,000 entries, the judges and organizers awarded 15 collective prizes to the Provincial and Municipal Youth Unions and School Unions that achieved excellent results in organizing the contest and had many entries.

At the same time, 43 individual prizes were awarded to children with the best paintings, including: 1 special prize, 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 6 third prizes, 30 consolation prizes divided equally between primary and secondary schools.

Female student Nguyen Phuc Gia Han (class 8/2, Xuan Dieu Secondary School, My Tho City, Tien Giang Province) excellently won the special prize with the work Youth Vegetable Garden.

Within the framework of the program, at the experience area, children can immerse themselves in a fun space with colors, paint to create useful personal items, and participate in exciting physical games and receive useful gifts.
