Female author with passion for writing children's stories

After graduating from university, author and screenwriter Thai Thi Hong Dao (33 years old) got married and moved to Tan An City, Long An Province to live and work until now. She chose jobs that could be done at home to both work and take care of her family in general and her son in particular. Talking about her son, she sadly shared: “When he was born, he had an eye disease and could not see light like other children. The family tried to treat him with many methods in many places, the most difficult time was the time when they took him to Singapore for treatment at a cost of over 800 million VND. He is the motivation for me to try my best and tell myself not to give up…”. Currently, she takes on many roles such as children's book author, screenwriter for many TV channels, content creator,...

She has achieved quite a lot of success in her field with outstanding products such as Towards the Rainbow (HTV); The Little Talents of the Western Capital ( Can Tho ); The Family is Very Okay ( Ben Tre ); Children's Films on HTVC Channel ( Legend of the Five Gods, Spring Apprentice, Story in the Snow Country, The Miracle of Miracles, The Legend of Mid-Autumn Festival, The Magic Shoes, Seven Fairies, The Legend of Spring, The Talking Paper,... ) .

In addition, her collection of children's stories has been welcomed and well received by many people. After the success of the two stories "Superman Bun Bao" and "Superman Blanket Rach", she and her team continued to release the third story collection about superheroes with a message reminding young readers about courage and the spirit of "mutual love" when facing dire circumstances. The work called "Superman Un In" has published over 3,000 copies.

Despite the large workload and having to take care of her son, she still tries to spend time and is very active in charity work. She supports medical examination and treatment costs for many difficult circumstances and awards scholarships to over 20 students in many places in the province; supports donations to the 5,000 VND Rice Shop (Ward 1, Tan An City). She has just coordinated with the Tan An City Youth Union to organize the launching ceremony and is the main sponsor for the Dream Bookcase model, this model operates 100% free of charge to spread the reading culture to children. The bookcase is open on weekdays so that children have many choices about reading time, helping them become aware of reading and creating conditions for them to meet, interact, and exchange knowledge with each other.
