“Whether we like it or not, women always have more limitations than men, especially in terms of health and endurance. However, I think concentration and carefulness are advantages when women drive” – My Hanh shared – Photo: NVCC

5 years driving experience

“1.54m tall, weighs nearly 40kg, small, likes pink”, young driver Ngo Thi My Hanh (in Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province) briefly introduced herself.

At the age of 25, My Hanh has spent 5 years behind the wheel of a truck driving all over the roads. However, her journey to becoming a driver was not smooth. Hanh's family was in the wood business and transported goods to other provinces, so since she was a child she had the opportunity to accompany her father on day trips.

After graduating from high school, instead of going to college or university like many others, My Hanh applied to study truck driving.

“At first, my decision to become a driver was strongly opposed by my parents, because they only wanted me to focus on my business. Because I was so passionate, I asked the drivers to teach me how to drive.

When they found out, my parents created conditions for me to study driving professionally, according to my interests," My Hanh recalled.

The pink truck

At the age of 21, after obtaining a Class C driver's license, My Hanh's parents invested in a 30-ton truck. She really appreciates the thoughtful gift her parents gave her.

So My Hanh wanted to decorate it beautifully and drive it herself to preserve it in the best way. She decided to paint it pink, stick Hello Kitty (the same zodiac sign as her) and her portrait on the body of the car.

The hard, strenuous work of driving a heavy truck contrasts with her pretty, sexy figure. My Hanh said she only weighs 38-39kg. She was not that thin before, but weighed around 47-48kg.

Spread positive energy

My Hanh is the only beauty in the recent offline meeting of 200 members of the driver association in Thai Nguyen.

Therefore, along the roads, the heavy truck with many accents decorated in Hello Kitty pink or Doraemon blue is recognized by many people and honked in greeting.

In addition to her main job, the 9X beauty has a TikTok channel named after her with many videos sharing driving skills and the daily work of a female truck driver, attracting more than 9 million likes and 464,000 followers.

With her beautiful appearance, Hanh is jokingly called by everyone with the nickname "container beauty" or "truck driver beauty".

The Gen Z girl happily said: “I hope this job will inspire girls who love driving.

From personal experience, I think that to stick with the job of a truck driver, women need to be equipped with the skills to quickly solve situations, good observation skills, and knowledge of reversing, turning around, or turning into a curve.
