Vietnam national female player marries girlfriend

The wedding of Tran Thi Thu and her girlfriend Nguyen Thi Thuong was held in Ho Chi Minh City on the afternoon of January 6. The couple had been dating for a long time and overcame many obstacles to be happy together. This is the first time a Vietnamese female football player has publicly married a special "lover".

Tran Thi Thu's happy day welcomed many teammates who traveled thousands of kilometers to attend. Defender Tran Thi Duyen (Phong Phu Ha Nam Club), striker Pham Hai Yen, Hoang Thi Loan (Hanoi I Club),... were all present and shared the joy with the defender of Ho Chi Minh City I Club.

From afar, striker Huynh Nhu sent her best wishes to her close teammate via social media. She hopes her friend will be happy. At the same time, Tran Thi Thu also received many emotional wishes from Vietnamese women's football fans.

For many years, Tran Thi Thu has been a mainstay of the Vietnamese women's team and Ho Chi Minh City I Club. She has participated in most major tournaments and won the AFF Cup championship, the SEA Games gold medal and a ticket to the 2023 Women's World Cup. Tran Thi Thu has also won the national women's championship and National Cup many times with the Ho Chi Minh City I team.

Despite being 33 years old, Tran Thi Thu still shows incredible flexibility and endurance. At the 2023 Women's World Cup, she confidently competed for the ball with opponents who were physically superior.
