Pickup truck crashes into series of motorbikes in Hanoi, people carry the vehicle to rescue victims

At about 4:45 p.m. on July 23, a series of traffic accidents occurred at the Van Chuong - Kham Thien intersection (Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward, Hanoi ).

According to witnesses at the scene, at the time of the accident, a pickup truck with license plate 30F - 498.XX (driver unknown) suddenly hit a series of motorcyclists and many other vehicles parked on the side of the road.

"The car accelerated so quickly that many people could not avoid it in time, and some people were trapped under the car. Many passersby and traffic police had to lift the car to rescue the victims," said a witness.

At the scene, 2 injured people were taken to the emergency room by authorities and local residents, and at least 3 motorbikes were severely damaged.

A representative of Traffic Police Team No. 3 (Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police) said that the unit had sent officers and soldiers to the scene to handle the traffic accident.

Authorities are currently investigating and clarifying the accident.
