According to Ms. Pham Tran Thuy Linh, M.A., from the Department of Science Management and External Relations at Bac Lieu University, teaching through the "Renewable Energy House" model helps students observe, understand easily, and stimulates and promotes creativity.
The projects and initiatives of Dr. Le Cong Nha, a teacher at Phan Ngoc Hien Specialized High School, have received positive evaluations and feedback from other schools.
The science and technology innovation movement continues to spread through the initiative "SmartLight POLAR - A device for measuring and analyzing polarized light flux using Industry 4.0 technology for STEM education and real-life applications," developed by Dr. Le Cong Nha, a teacher at Phan Ngoc Hien Specialized High School, along with Le Quang Chanh, a student at Phan Ngoc Hien Specialized High School, and Le Quang Dai, a student at Ngo Quyen Secondary School. The products have high applicability, are easy to manufacture, and effectively serve education as well as the lives of the people.
In the power sector, the solution "Upgrading medium-voltage capacitor banks without protocols for remote control on the SCADA system" by the Bac Lieu Power Management Team, Ca Mau Power Company, has improved the quality of electricity supply, serving socio-economic development as well as the daily lives of the people. Mr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Deputy Director of Ca Mau Power Company, said: "In 2025, Ca Mau Power Company was recognized by the Southern Power Corporation for 11 initiatives; participating in the province's Science and Technology Innovation Competition, the unit won 1 second prize and 3 consolation prizes. The innovative solutions all have high practical application, contributing to increased labor productivity and ensuring stable and safe electricity supply. In the future, the company will continue to promote the movement of initiatives and technical improvements to effectively achieve the goals of science and technology development and innovation."
