Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang holds the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province.

On the afternoon of September 23, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province held the 2nd Conference of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to consult and elect members of the Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, term 2024-2029.

At the conference, Head of the Organizing Committee of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee Tran Vu Khiem announced the announcement of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the introduction of Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang (Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Tri province) to join the Committee and introduce him for consultation to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024-2029 term.

The delegates unanimously agreed to elect Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang to take up this position.

Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang, born in 1976, hometown in Dong Ha ward, Quang Tri province; professional qualifications: university degree in Civil and Industrial Construction, Advanced Political Theory.

He held the positions of Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Ha city, Secretary of the Dong Ha City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Tri province (old).

After merging the old Quang Binh and old Quang Tri provinces, he held the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Tri province.

In his congratulatory speech, Quang Tri Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang expressed his belief that with his political mettle, experience and sense of responsibility, Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang will promote the tradition of solidarity, improve operational efficiency, focus on the grassroots, care for people's lives, effectively implement emulation movements and major campaigns. The Quang Tri Provincial Fatherland Front continues to affirm its core role in building the great national unity bloc.

Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang expressed his honor and sense of responsibility before the Party Committee and the people; affirmed that he will make efforts to train and build internal solidarity, be close, listen and promptly reflect the legitimate aspirations of the people; innovate the content and methods of operation so that the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province is truly a common home of the great national solidarity bloc./.
