Mr. Pham Hoang Duc - Permanent Deputy Secretary of Tam Ky City Party Committee was elected Chairman of Tam Ky City People's Council.

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of Tam Ky City People's Council introduced Mr. Pham Hoang Duc - Deputy Secretary of Tam Ky City Party Committee to be elected by the City People's Council to hold the position of Chairman of Tam Ky City People's Council. As a result, with 100% of votes in agreement (27/27 delegates present), Mr. Pham Hoang Duc was elected to hold the position of Chairman of Tam Ky City People's Council.

Mr. Pham Hoang Duc was born in 1975, from Tam Thang commune (Tam Ky), with a bachelor's degree in information technology and a bachelor's degree in politics . Mr. Duc has held many important positions in Tam Ky City such as Chairman of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, Head of the Tam Ky City Party Committee's Organization Committee and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Tam Ky City Party Committee.

Also at the meeting, the City People's Council carried out the procedure to terminate the duties of the Tam Ky City People's Council delegate for the 12th term of 2021 - 2026 for Mr. Tran Nam Hung - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, former Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Tam Ky City People's Council.
