On June 28, in Hanoi , the Ceremony to Announce the Prime Minister's Decision on appointing Mr. Truong Thanh Hoai, Director of the Department of Industry (Ministry of Industry and Trade) to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade took place.
Speaking at the Decision Awarding Ceremony, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien said that since working at units within the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Mr. Truong Thanh Hoai has demonstrated his mettle, professional qualifications, capacity, responsibility, political qualities and received the trust of the collective units where he worked.
Minister Nguyen Hong Dien hopes that the new Deputy Minister Truong Thanh Hoai will strive to further promote his existing strengths and achievements; maintain his political qualities, steadfastness, constantly strive, train, and improve his professional expertise to help the Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Trade successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party, State, Government and people.
Speaking at the ceremony, the new Deputy Minister Truong Thanh Hoai affirmed that he will always try to learn to fulfill the assigned responsibilities and at the same time absolutely comply with the assignment with the Party Committee, the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Trade under the direction of the Minister, unite and work together to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party and State to the industry and trade sector.
Thus, along with Minister Nguyen Hong Dien, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has deputy ministers including: Mr. Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, Ms. Phan Thi Thang, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long and Mr. Truong Thanh Hoai.
New Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Truong Thanh Hoai was born in 1972. Hometown: Dien Truong, Dien Chau, Nghe An.
Before being appointed as Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr. Truong Thanh Hoai held many positions: Engineer, Project Director of Yurtee Corporation Japan (October 1996 - May 2000); Team Leader of Construction Team No. 3, Machinery Installation Company of Vietnam Industrial Construction Corporation, Ministry of Industry (June 2000 - September 2008); Specialist of the Department of Mountainous Trade, Ministry of Industry and Trade (October 2008 - April 2009); Specialist of the Department of Energy, Ministry of Industry and Trade (April 2009 - January 2011); Specialist of the Office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (January 2011 - July 2011).
From August 2011 to August 2012, he held the position of Deputy Chief of Office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; Deputy Director of the Department of Heavy Industry, Ministry of Industry and Trade (August 2012 - October 2014); Member of the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; Secretary of the Party Cell, in charge of the Department of Heavy Industry, Ministry of Industry and Trade (October 2014 - November 2014); Director of the Department of Heavy Industry, Ministry of Industry and Trade (November 2014 - August 2017); Member of the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; Secretary of the Party Committee, in charge of the Department of Industry, Ministry of Industry and Trade (August 2017 - October 2017); Member of the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Department of Industry, Ministry of Industry and Trade (October 2017 - June 2024).
