After nearly a year of waiting, OpenAI has finally officially rolled out its Sora video -generating AI tool to users.

OpenAI announced Sora in February, but it was only available to a small group of users at the time. Now, the AI video creation tool has been rolled out to the public with significant upgrades.

Hiện Sora chỉ dành cho người dùng trả phí của ChatGPT và chưa mở cửa để đăng ký tài khoản mới
Sora is currently only available to paid ChatGPT users and is not open for new account registrations.

Sora is now available at sora.com and is available to ChatGPT Plus ($20/month) or Pro ($200/month) subscribers in the US and most countries outside the European Union (EU) and UK.

For ChatGPT Plus users, they can create 50 videos per month with a maximum duration of 5 seconds for 720p resolution. Meanwhile, ChatGPT Pro users will be given a better deal as they can create 500 videos per month with a maximum duration of 20 seconds for 1080p resolution. Another benefit for Pro users is the ability to download videos without watermarks and can create 5 videos at a time.

To create a video using Sora, users simply enter text describing the desired content. The tool will analyze the information and quickly create a corresponding video. Users can also upload images for Sora to convert into animated videos based on the textual description.

Another impressive feature of Sora is Storyboarding mode. With this mode, users can create a series of clips linked together in a timeline. Just enter descriptions for each scene, and Sora will automatically create the corresponding clips and connect them smoothly. Users can also customize the transitions by dragging and dropping to adjust how abrupt or smooth they are.

In addition, Sora also provides tools for users to expand, remix and mix existing videos. With just a few simple steps, users can create completely new videos from available clips or created by Sora itself.

OpenAI admits that Sora still has some limitations, such as creating unrealistic physical effects or struggling with complex scenes. However, the company is committed to continuing to improve the technology and making it more affordable in the future.

Sora also has OpenAI built-in protections to prevent abuse, such as attaching C2PA metadata to verify the origin of videos, limiting uploads of videos with real people, and blocking pornographic and deepfake content.

OpenAI's launch of Sora marks a major step forward in the field of generative AI, and also opens up huge potential for the content creation industry.
