(Chinhphu.vn) - On the afternoon of September 5, in Hanoi, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) and central organizations held a conference to announce the Politburo's Decision on personnel work.

Comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front attended and spoke at the Conference.

At the Conference, comrade Do Trong Hung, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission, announced the Politburo's Decision on mobilizing, assigning, and appointing to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, and holding the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations for the 2020-2025 term.

Accordingly, comrade Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, ceased to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and ceased to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; at the same time, assigned and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central mass organizations for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the Conference, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central mass organizations, comrade Do Van Chien respectfully thanked the Politburo for its attention, mobilization, assignment and appointment of comrade Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central mass organizations for the 2020-2025 term.

Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien said that comrade Nguyen Phi Long received basic training and went through the process of taking on many different important responsibilities in localities such as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee, and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee.

The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front believes that Comrade Nguyen Phi Long will promote his capacity and strengths together with the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee, the Party Committee, and the Party Committee's advisory body to excellently complete the assigned tasks.

Regarding the meeting with the Politburo on September 4 regarding comments on the content of documents and personnel plans in preparation for the first Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations for the 2025-2030 term, comrade Do Van Chien stated that, in order to meet the wishes and expectations of the Politburo, immediately after taking office, comrade Nguyen Phi Long and the Standing Committee focused on successfully organizing the Congress and continuing to advise on the arrangement of the apparatus of the Vietnam Fatherland Front system, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and State from the Central to the communal level, ensuring the apparatus operates smoothly and effectively.
