(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Along with millions of students nationwide, on the morning of September 5, schools at all levels in Thanh Hoa province held the Opening Ceremony with many differences compared to previous years.

The opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 academic year also marks the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training ). This morning, all higher education and vocational education institutions, from public to private, along with preschool and primary and secondary schools, simultaneously held their opening ceremonies for the 2025-2026 academic year.

The opening ceremony took place at the National Convention Center, was broadcast live on VTV1 from 8:00 to 9:30, and was streamed online to all educational institutions nationwide. This was the first time the event was implemented in 34 provinces and cities.

This event holds a "double" significance, both welcoming the new school year and commemorating the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the National Ministry of Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training), marking a long journey of development for the country's education system.

♦ Dien Bien 2 Primary School (Hac Thanh Ward) held the opening ceremony of the new school year and received the Government's Emulation Flag.

In the 2024-2025 school year, with the efforts of teachers and students, Dien Bien 2 Primary School continues to affirm its position with many outstanding achievements in the fields of teaching, training and movement. The school's students have won 313 city-level prizes, 151 provincial-level prizes and 148 medals and awards; 1 bronze medal in the international TIMO Math competition.
