Excited, honored and proud to be Vietnamese

On the evening of August 27, at the historic Ba Dinh Square and many streets of Hanoi, millions of people in the capital and domestic and foreign tourists immersed themselves in the solemn atmosphere of the State-level preliminary rehearsal of the ceremony, parade, and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 / August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 / September 2, 2025).

Each majestic army line, each marching group, marched through the stage and the streets to the sound of heroic music, deeply inculcating national pride.

The sound of drums and trumpets mixed with the resounding applause of the masses created a passionate song, recreating the glorious tradition of the nation throughout the 80-year journey of building and defending the Fatherland. The strong footsteps of the armed forces today not only demonstrate the strength of the regular, modern revolutionary army, but also affirm the indomitable will and aspiration of the Vietnamese people in the new era - the era of the nation's strong rise. All have created an epic - united by a firm belief: The country today is stronger than ever, the Vietnamese people are together continuing to write the golden history.

Standing before this sacred moment, every Vietnamese person feels deeply excited, proud and honored to be a child of Vietnam. It is also a reminder for today's generation to continue the tradition, constantly study, work, create, and join hands to build a rich and prosperous country.

The bright red color and the radiant faces, all generations share the same love for the Fatherland. The closer to the A80 preliminary rehearsal, the more exciting the atmosphere on the streets becomes.

More than 40,000 people participated in the parade rehearsal and march at Ba Dinh.

With strong steps, the groups: Border Guard officers; Vietnam Coast Guard officers; Logistics-Technical, Defense Industry officers; female Military Medical officers; students of military academies and schools; Electronic Warfare soldiers took turns passing the stage.

After passing through the stage at Ba Dinh Square, the parade groups split into many directions, passing through the central streets of Hanoi City, cheered and encouraged by hundreds of thousands of people on the streets. The parade formations of the Army and Police units passing through the stage ensured distance, speed, and strong movements, demonstrating the heroic spirit and strength of the people's armed forces.
