Strictly implementing Official Dispatch No. 4624/CD-BCT dated August 8, 2022 of the Minister of Industry and Trade on implementing a peak period of inspection of compliance with the law on prices, ensuring supply and demand of goods, stabilizing the market and social security, the Market Management Department of Tien Giang province has continuously strengthened inspection of compliance with the law on prices in the area since the beginning of the year.

All 400 violating establishments did not post prices or posted unclear prices, confusing customers.

The main products traded are beer, soft drinks, confectionery, children's toys, fertilizers, pesticides, animal feed, aquatic feed, modern medicine, ready-made clothes, electricity, electronics, refrigeration, motorbike spare parts, etc.

Up to now, the Market Management Department of Tien Giang province has handled 390 establishments, collected fines of over 340 million VND, and the remaining 10 cases are completing their files for processing.

Along with inspection activities, the Market Management Department of Tien Giang province also conducts direct propaganda, guidance, and mobilization of production and business establishments to raise awareness of compliance with legal regulations on price posting and selling at listed prices.
