Launching the Media Award "Happy Vietnam 2025"

The award is held annually to spread the image of Vietnam as a happy, developed and humane country through media works (photos, videos) that truly reflect the political , economic, cultural and social life of the country.

Thereby, contributing to promoting policies to ensure human rights, enhancing Vietnam's reputation and position in the international arena.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh emphasized: Simple, everyday images are the most genuine and profound expression of happiness. Vietnam has made significant progress in the happiness index, but the numbers cannot fully reflect that spirit. Through the award, we spread a journey that arouses pride, gratitude and simple moments of happiness that exist all around.

In 2025, Vietnam will rise 8 places compared to 2024 and 19 places compared to 2023, ranking 46th in the world in terms of happiness index. This is a milestone showing the international community's recognition of Vietnam's efforts to ensure human rights in recent years.

The award aims to mobilize the participation of a large number of Vietnamese citizens and foreigners, professional or non-professional, aged 15 and above, living in the country or abroad.

The entries are photos (single or series of 5-10 photos, not edited to distort reality) and videos (under 5 minutes, mp4 format, quality from Full HD or higher), in genres such as: reportage, documentary, short video, skit...

Displaying photographic works at the launching ceremony of the media award "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam 2025".

The works vividly reflect valuable stories and discoveries about a happy Vietnam, its development achievements, cultural identity, and national historical traditions. This is also a way to spread the image of a dynamic, integrated, and innovative Vietnam in the fields of science and technology, digital transformation, law-making, and private economic development.

Entries must be created between January 1, 2023 and the time of submission.

The submission period is from May 22, 2025 to September 30, 2025.
