On August 14, the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Science and Technology Associations in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology and the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union launched the 28th Ho Chi Minh City Technical Innovation Contest - 2024.
The contest aims to promote the creativity of scientists, experts, workers, and civil servants in Ho Chi Minh City. Thereby, searching and discovering creative solutions in the field of science - technology and engineering applied to production and life, contributing to the socio-economic development of Ho Chi Minh City.
Mr. Le Thanh Minh, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City, said that the contest was launched in 6 fields such as: Healthcare ; Biotechnology; Information technology, electronics, telecommunications; Materials technology, environment; Mechanics, automation... The solutions entered in the contest must bring socio-economic benefits, different from similar solutions popular in Vietnam. The deadline for receiving entries is December 31, 2024.
At the 27th Ho Chi Minh City Technical Innovation Contest in 2023, the organizing committee selected 145 applications and awarded prizes to 33 applications with solutions and topics that can be applied in practice.
