The details are designed by the artist to be concise, refined, and highly expressive, helping viewers grasp the main details in the story.

" The Hundred-Joint Bamboo " is one of the most famous and popular Vietnamese fairy tales with the main content promoting diligence, honesty, and the fight for justice.

The entire story is summarized in 4 pictures - 4 main details of the story.

Once upon a time, there was a poor, kind and hard-working boy who worked for a rich man with the promise that after 3 years he would marry his daughter.

When the time came, the rich man did not keep his promise and asked the young man to find a new bamboo tree with a hundred joints for the wedding ceremony. The young man went into the forest to look for the bamboo tree with a hundred joints but could not find it, so he sat down and cried.

Buddha appeared, told him to find and cut one hundred bamboo joints and gave him the magic words "engage, enter" to join the 100 bamboo joints; "engage, exit" to separate the bamboo joints.

Returning to the village, the young man saw the rich man organizing a wedding for his daughter with another man. He showed the rich man the bamboo with a hundred joints. At the same time, he recited a spell that caused the rich man to be sucked into the bamboo.

Only when the rich man agreed to keep his promise did he cast a spell to release the rich man. Finally, the poor boy and the rich man's daughter lived happily ever after.

According to this content, the stamp includes images: a farmer meets a Buddha and is taught about bamboo and the slogan; a farmer carries bamboo segments back to the village; a rich man gets stuck in a bamboo tree; the wedding of a farmer and the rich man's daughter.

The stamp set is available on the postal network from June 1, 2024 to December 31, 2025.
