These two birds accidentally flew into his house when they were young. When they discovered that they were a rare species, the people proactively reported them to the authorities and handed them over. Kim Ngan Forest Protection Department ( Quang Tri ) quickly inspected, received and identified them as two rare brown thrushes.

Kim Ngan Forest Protection Department then handed over the two rare birds to the Rescue, Conservation and Development Center of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park for rescue and care. Their health is currently normal.

The brown hornbill has the scientific name Anorrhinus austeni (belonging to the Hornbill family), listed in group IB as an endangered and rare forest animal. The bird belongs to the hornbill family and has brown plumage. Its main habitat is evergreen broadleaf forests and secondary forests.
