On September 17, news from the Martyrs' Remains Search and Collection Team (Team 584), Quang Tri Provincial Military Command, the unit has just recovered the remains of two martyrs in Quang Tri ward.

The martyrs’ remains were discovered during the renovation and restoration of the Bo De School relic in Quang Tri ward. The remains were located at a depth of 0.6m, wrapped in tents, hammocks, military parachutes, along with many relics such as: infantry shovels, helmets, AK ammunition boxes...

The government and military units are organizing to preserve and burn incense carefully for the martyrs' remains, while expanding the search area at the Bo De School relic site.

Bo De School is part of the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel National Special Monument complex. This is a rare structure remaining after 81 days and nights of the "fiery" summer of 1972.

In 1972, during the fight against the US-puppet counter-attack campaign to retake Quang Tri town, Bo De School became one of our army's important fighting posts, fighting back hundreds of enemy counter-attacks.

Bo De School relic is being restored, reinforced to prevent degradation, garden renovation, new gate, fence and auxiliary items built.
