Donated 130 meals and gifts to cancer patients

On the evening of September 21, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 9 (Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department - Hanoi City Police) presented 130 meals and gifts to patients and their relatives in difficult circumstances being treated at Hanoi Oncology Hospital (Bach Mai Ward).

Although the material value of the meals and gifts is not great, they contain deep spiritual meaning, helping patients and their families reduce their burden and alleviate some of the worries in life.

This is also an opportunity for each officer and soldier of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 9 to further imbue humanistic values, promote the spirit of social responsibility; raise awareness of serving the people not only in professional work but also in community activities.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Khac Tuan, Captain of Fire Fighting and Rescue Team No. 9, said that not only do they carry out the task of protecting people's lives and property, the unit's officers and soldiers also always care for and share with those in difficult circumstances in daily life.

Through the activity of distributing free meals and gifts, officers and soldiers send encouragement to patients and their families who are being treated at Hanoi Oncology Hospital. This is a vivid demonstration of the spirit of "helping each other", demonstrating the noble qualities and kindness of the People's Public Security soldiers; thereby contributing to strengthening the trust and affection between the people and the police force.
