At the time of inspection, the inspection team found that in the food preparation and processing area of the kitchen, there were no tools to collect and contain garbage and waste in a hygienic manner; pickled cabbage was kept in a colored plastic container without a lid; the storage and preservation area (food preparation and processing) did not have or did not have enough shelves to preserve food. The team also discovered a facility storing fresh and processed food on the floor.

Notably, the inspection team quickly tested 5 food samples at the facility with borax. The results showed that 2 food samples including pork roll and meatballs (over 2kg) were positive for borax.
The representative of the facility declared that the pork roll was purchased from a business household in Cau Xeo area, Long Thanh town, Long Thanh district. The pork roll was purchased from a business household in Tan Binh hamlet, Binh Minh commune, Trang Bom district.
The inspection team has recalled and destroyed the above mentioned products that tested positive for borax. At the same time, the facility was required to correct the violations.
