The new Huong Ap Pagoda has been renovated and looks much more impressive.
The Huong Ap Pagoda, a national historical monument, is currently undergoing restoration and renovation.

Along with funding from the state budget, the ward actively promotes and encourages organizations, individuals, and philanthropists to contribute and sponsor the restoration, renovation, preservation, and ranking of historical relics.

The relics are scientifically documented and classified, contributing to enriching the system of heritage protected under the law. The restoration and preservation of relics are carried out regularly, systematically, and according to procedures, ensuring the maximum preservation of the original elements and historical-cultural values of the relics.

Thanh Thu communal house is one of the historical sites that has received investment for restoration, serving as a cultural and spiritual center for local people and attracting many tourists. This ancient communal house, built in 1780, is dedicated to the deities Tam Giang, Manh Dien Quoc Vuong, and Tho Dia Long Vuong.

With a total investment of nearly 35 billion VND, entirely from socialized funding, the project was implemented seriously and scientifically, ensuring the requirements for heritage preservation. After the restoration was completed, Thanh Thu communal house still retains its traditional architecture, becoming a cultural and religious center for the local people, and also an attractive destination in cultural and tourism routes in the ward.

In addition, the project to restore and renovate Huong Ap Pagoda, part of the Ly Nam De historical site, is also a prominent achievement in the social mobilization of heritage preservation. The project is implemented by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Association in coordination with the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province and local authorities, with a total investment of nearly 90 billion VND from socialized funding sources.

This is a large-scale project with profound religious, cultural, and historical significance, currently being completed rapidly, promising to become an important highlight in the spiritual and cultural space of Van Xuan ward and the surrounding area.

Ms. Chu Thi Huong, Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Van Xuan Ward, stated: The People's Committee of Van Xuan Ward is committed to continuing to implement comprehensive solutions to improve the effectiveness of managing, preserving, and promoting the value of historical relics. The focus is on balancing and effectively mobilizing investment resources, accelerating the creation of scientific dossiers for relic classification, and strengthening the responsibility of Party committees, government, the Fatherland Front, and other organizations in managing and protecting relics. Simultaneously, the scale and quality of traditional festivals will be expanded and improved, linked to sustainable cultural and tourism development.
