Promote effectiveness in education and training of team members and children

On the afternoon of June 25, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Children's Council held a conference to summarize the work of the Children's Union and the provincial children's movement in the 2024-2025 school year.

The conference was attended by Ms. Trinh Thi Nhu Trang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairwoman of the Provincial Youth Union Council, representatives of the Departmentof Education and Training and officials in charge of the Youth Union, Youth Union of districts, towns, cities and schools in the province.

According to the assessment of the Provincial Youth Union Council, in the 2024-2025 school year, the Youth Union work and children's movement in Tay Ninh province will be deployed extensively, creatively and effectively, with many outstanding results, contributing to educating and training team members and children comprehensively in terms of ethics, intelligence, skills and physical strength.

With the theme "Vietnamese children, obey Uncle Ho's teachings, be proud of tradition, follow in the footsteps of their ancestors", the Provincial Youth Union Council directed all levels of the Association and the Youth Union to synchronously deploy emulation plans, closely following the actual needs of young people and effectively maintaining good activities and models from previous school years.

Typical in the movement "Vietnamese children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings", many emulation movements to study well have been effectively implemented such as "Good flower", "Good study week", "Beautiful friendship", "A beautiful story every week" organized in 100% of the teams. Activities to educate about traditions, skills, creative experiences, environmental sanitation, plastic waste prevention, propaganda to protect sea and island sovereignty ... have been widely organized, attracting more than 140,000 children to participate.

In the work of caring for and supporting children, the whole province supported over 10,000 children in difficult circumstances with a total budget of over 6.9 billion VND through the programs "Spring sharing - Tet of love", "Because you deserve it", "Loving meals", "Lighting up dreams" scholarships...; organized 19 free swimming classes for 450 children, organized the Mid-Autumn Festival program for 95,000 children in remote areas, children of workers and ethnic minority students.

The Provincial Youth Union has successfully and effectively implemented many meaningful programs and models for students and team members such as the "Share your feelings" model on mental health, attracting 110,000 participants; hosting the Kim Dong Level I National Training Camp, the Red Swallow Award Ceremony; the English Olympic Competition, Young Informatics, the "Mid-Autumn Festival" competition, the "Young Propaganda Team Festival", the "Country Full of Joy" History Learning Competition, the "Good Star Manager" competition... attracting thousands of children to participate.

The work of the Youth Union and the youth movement in provincial schools in the 2024-2025 school year also achieved many outstanding results, achieving practical effects in education work, promoting the vanguard spirit of young students.

Some provincial-level highlights include: honoring 52 outstanding individuals with the titles of “Young Teacher”, “3 Good Students”, “Young Creativity”; organizing Talent Search contests, STEM Robotics, English Olympics, youth informatics, provincial-level volunteer campaigns and the Spring At Ty meeting program.

Promoting the spirit of volunteerism among young people, more than 31,000 young people have actively participated in youth volunteer movements: "Supporting the exam season", "Red phoenix flowers", "Green summer"; activities include building youth projects, giving scholarships, repairing houses, taking care of children, and donating blood. The "Supporting the exam season" campaign alone supported more than 19,000 bottles of water, 5,700 cartons of milk, 270 meals...

In addition, school Youth Union chapters proactively implement programs to accompany young people, creating conditions for young people to study, practice, start businesses, and integrate internationally.

The Provincial Youth Union Council awarded prizes to individuals and groups with many contributions to the Youth Union work and school children's movement.

At the conference, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Young Pioneer Council awarded prizes to collectives and individuals with achievements in contributing to the work of the Youth Union and Young Pioneers in the 2024-2025 school year.

The People's Committee commended collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of the Youth Union and School Teams in the 2024-2025 school year ; in which, the Chau Thanh District Team Council was awarded the Leading Unit Flag by the Provincial People's Committee.
